Richard L. Eland
Richard L. Eland, President of Title Village, brings over 25 years of real estate expertise and increasing recognition within his profession. He is a licensed attorney, admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey, as well as the Bar of the Federal District of New Jersey. He spent nine years in private practice, primarily in Mercer County, New Jersey. Richard’s real estate experience includes over 20 years in the title insurance industry, both from underwriter branch and agency perspectives. Richard’s unique experience allows him to better appreciate and tailor his clients’ needs to each individual transaction.
Richard’s broad scope of real estate title experience includes a variety of transactions:

- Open space acquisitions: state, county, municipal and private foundations
- Hospital financings
- Office buildings
- School funding projects

- Refinancing of mortgages
Richard served as President of the New Jersey Land Title Association for the 2009-2010 term. His professional background also includes numerous past positions of stature over the years, including:
- President of the Princeton Bar Association
- Chair of the Real Estate Section of the Mercer County Bar Association
- Member of the Planning Board for West Windsor Township, NJ

Diane Mullin joined Title Village in August 2010 as a Settlement Officer. She is responsible for the production of all residential settlements and policy/premium remittance at the firm. Diane has been involved in the real estate title industry since 2002 when she received her Insurance Producer’s license. Since then she has served as a settlement officer with title insurance agencies in Mercer County, New Jersey. Diane’s prior sales experience as a licensed real estate agent beginning in 1987 and as owner of a bookkeeping business provide a useful background and skill set to bring to the transactional side of the title business.
John Maret joined Title Village in July 2015 as Account Manager, focusing on managing relationships and developing business involving commercial properties. John has many years’ experience in the financial services industry as a commercial lender, residential mortgage banker and private lender. He has been a licensed title producer in New Jersey since 2010. John has been active in the not-for-profit world as well. He was a fundraiser and Board member for CancerCare of NJ until 2013 and has been affiliated with SERV Behavioral Health System, Ewing, NJ, as a Board member since the late 1990s.
